Smiski FAQs

What are Smiski?

Smiski are small, glow-in-the-dark figures that love hiding in corners and small spaces. They come in blind boxes, so the figure inside is a surprise. Each themed series, like Sunday and Living, has 6 regular designs and one rare secret to collect.

Where are they from?

Smiski come from Japan, dreamed up by designer Toru Soeya at Dreams Inc., with Series 1 released as a blind box range in 2015.

Series 1, remains one of the most recognisable, later expanded in 2020 with the addition of bonus Little Smiski figures. Since then, some of the figures have also been reimagined as accessories such as touch lights, zipperbites and plush keychains.

How many series are there?

Since Smiski's debut with Series 1, there have been 18 blind box series in total. Each series features 6 regular figures and a Secret figure. These mysterious figures add a playful twist to everyday activities, bringing a little extra joy into our lives.

How do Smiski glow in the dark?

Smiski’s mysterious glow-in-the-dark finish comes from the phosphorescent material they’re made of. There’s no need to charge them. After spending time in natural or indoor light, they’ll softly light up any corner or shelf when the lights go off.

Are there blue Smiski?

While most Smiski figures are green, the Bath and Toilet blind box series and Toothbrush Holders come in blue to reflect their theme. This gives them a special place within your Smiski collection.
